 Well, guest of honour Hema Malini didn’t literally do a Seeta aur Geeta act.
It’s just that guests at this function got to see two versions of the actress: one, the real one, and two, a portrait of hers, especially done by artists Krishn and Govind Kanhai for the actress.
So there Hema Malini was, smiling and laughing and admiring her mirror image... only, without a mirror! But the painting was so lifelike, that guests stopped in their path and marvelled at the exact features captured on canvas.
Organised by Shaina NC, the evening also saw minister Anil Deshmukh, Salil Chaturvedi and Sangeeta Ahir attend. Cocktails and conversations, and plenty of breathtakingart made for a perfect combination.
